A standard drip email campaign is a set of emails that are written
about a certain topic and are sent to a contact after they have been assigned
to the campaign for a specific number of days. As you
gain new contacts, they are added to the drip email campaign
and emails begin sending to them.
So, for example, you may choose to have a campaign that sends
out an email every two weeks. If there are 26 emails in the campaign
it will last for one year. Regardless of when you assign a contact
to the campaign, they start from the first email and will receive
messages from you for a year.
The power of drip email is that no matter when or how you get new
contacts, you can start them at the beginning of your campaign.
